Andy Becker

Andy was born and raised in northern, lower Michigan and graduated with a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Michigan Technological University. It was at MTU where he met his future wife and they moved to the Grand Rapids area after graduation. Andy achieved his professional engineering licensure and received his MBA from Grand Valley State University in 2002. His professional experience was in the healthcare, education, and government business segments prior to coming to Diekema Hamann in 2005.

Andy has spent his Diekema Hamann career focused on the engineering design of healthcare and educational facilities. Andy is the President of Diekema Hamann Engineering and maintains daily involvement in our healthcare, education, and government projects. His passion for the complex environments within healthcare facilities, the satisfaction of working with educational organizations, and the brilliant people at Diekema Hamann is why he loves his work.

When not at work, Andy spends his days with his family on the beaches of Grand Haven, the closest skiing hill, or the nearest hockey rink.
