Gabe Alvey Named Principal of Diekema Hamann

Diekema Hamann would like to announce the promotion of Gabe Alvey, AIA, to a principal of the firm. Gabe joins Norman Hamann, Jr., AIA, Steve Dickerson, AIA, Valerie Wright, Nathan Jones, PE, Andrew Becker, PE, Jon Mulder, PE, and Phil Nicholson, PE, as principals of Diekema Hamann.

Gabe holds a Bachelor of Architecture degree from the University of Detroit – Mercy. He has more than 15 years of experience in K-12 and Higher Education projects and holds architectural licenses in Michigan, Indiana, Kentucky, and Ohio.

During his employment as Project Manager with Diekema Hamann, Gabe lead DHAE’s Education Design Team on projects for East Jackson Community Schools, Western Michigan University Homer Stryker M.D. School of Medicine and the University of Notre Dame.

“I’m grateful and honored to be a part of the DHAE team,” states Gabe. “I look forward to growing with the unique, inspiring and energetic group here at Diekema Hamann.  Architecture has always been a big part of my DNA as I grew up on the construction job site developing a great appreciation for the details and craftsmanship that make a building great.  My passion has always been working closely with clients, listening to their needs and dreams, and helping them find innovative and creative solutions for their facilities.”
