Diekema Hamann is currently designing the renovations to the Battle Creek Veteran’s Affairs Recreational Building #134. This building was constructed in 1957 to provide recreational amenities to the local veterans. The building currently houses a therapy pool, full size gymnasium, aerobic equipment, and weight training equipment and individualized training rooms. The scope of this project includes redesigning the locker rooms to maximize the available space, increase the efficiency of the locker rooms and provide a new female veteran and female staff locker room to service the increasing volume of female veterans and staff. This project will also update the interior finishes, lighting and mechanical systems throughout the facility, replace all existing windows and doors and provide much needed repairs to the exterior façade
